Hello, my name is Dennis Ogilvie and I have used “The Octopus Principle” to build a successful “Buy & Sell” Antiques, Collectibles, Jewelry, Art & furniture business. I have succeeded where many others have failed.
.
About The Octopus And Your Business
.
The octopus, has a pouch-shaped body and eight powerful arms with two rows of suction discs on each. They vary in size from a few centimeters to the giant octopus of the Pacific Ocean. I've developed a strategy for success based on the Octopus principal and know it works for small and large business equally well.
.
I'd like to briefly share with you how I see the Octopus as a great analogy of what it takes to create the business you want. These amazing creatures move forward by creeping over hard surfaces using their arms, just like when you feel growth is hard and moving at a crawling rate. Their arms are also there to feed the pouch. The pouch being your profit, your good will, your life style, your dreams fulfilled. The other arms are your Networking, Marketing and Advertising. If you are only using one arm of traditional sales technique you are doomed for failure. If you want more arms then I suggest you contact www.solsolutions.ca.
.
The Internet has been a huge key to my ongoing success where others have failed. I've been highly innovative in a very traditional market. I used a few arms with these suction cups and embraced the Internet. There are lots of interesting free ways to get your name and product or service out there. A little suction here and a little suction there and the next thing you know your pouch is bulging. I'll spare you the details of what I discovered but I would like to share an example of what one arm of success brought in.

What This Principle Is Helping Us Sell
.
One local successful product is the Inuit Art Sculptures and being sold to Corporate customers in Mississauga. This is a find a new arm brought in for us and we are happy with the results.
.
We are also presently inventorying beautiful Cape Dorset carvings in a rich dark green Serpentine, marble-like, soapstone. We are keeping an extra inventory of Inukshuks (stone man that points the way) as it is the symbol for the Canadian Winter Olympics. They are doing lots of national advertising so here the stone man points the way to what I should inventory. The carvings come complete with the Canadian government’s certificate of authenticity and the carvers name and date and location. They make a great gift as a business award and a much appreciated gift when visiting abroad. Corporate discounts are available.
