Word Press Preparing for the Blog-Off site, as of today

Clicks would be 400-500 higher, or at about 2800, if caches had not been cleared too quickly. Caused by my deleting Linked In through-clicks inadvertently, along with deleting posts in News and Discussions to make room for newer posts. Now I know!

Comments received actually over 90, with 70 remaining. I deleted about 20 because they were redundant or might be potentially embarrassing to those who made them.

And I received dozens - at least 40 - comments at Linked In groups themselves over the past two weeks on my Blog-Off posts. Most have been deleted as I posted updates. I wasn't aware it was kosher to re-post them on this site.

I'm glad we were all apart of this together. What a great concept. Thanks Andrew for organizing it all. We're from all over the world and I would have never thought I would ever connect with people like this.

No one wants to be the first one on the dance floor or the first one to post their blog. I actually saw someone (maybe it was you Megan) type up a draft and I was waiting for you to post it. But then it disappeared. I ended up asking Andrew if others had posted, thinking maybe they did and I didn't know how to use Typepad properly. Once one person started, the ball was rolling and it didn't stop.

Excited to connect with those who will be a part of the tele-conference. Keep in touch.

I’m finding great things taking place regularly. Within a span of just 10 days I’ve moved forward with a significant NY branding agency as their partner for social network marketing, interviewed online radio last Saturday on SN findings and this coming Thursday morning I’ll be interviewing on the Psychology of Social Networking along with the founder of Ecademy and an author of 27 books http://www.blogtalkradio.com/Jon-Hansen/2009/06/04/The-Psychology-of-Social-Networking. More to come...

@JulieTyios

Hey everyone! I'm talking about Twitter for the duration of this blog-off. If you have Twitter, please feel free to follow me: www.twitter.com/JulieTyios

Good luck, everyone!

Hi All,
I'm keeping track of statistics within TypePad so no need to track your own. BUT... do feel free to show and share where you're at from any of your other reporting systems! We're off to a strong start and I can definitely see who's got their game on for content and traffic. As many of you are, keep in mind it's about audience interaction too!

I'll release a ranking report next Monday morning. Do keep in mind you can publish multiple articles to keep fresh traffic and interaction building.

If only this counted!

Congratulations to all contestants who have posted blogs already.

We are going to learn a lot from one another.

Nice Jenmy!

I posted mine after you did... I was nervous to be the first one :)

I'm enjoying watching my bit.ly link spread across the Web. I don't know if you all have spread your URL through a URL shortner/tracker such as bit.ly, but it's been a neat experience watching the stats throughout the evening thus far.

First entry! BAM!

I'm looking forward to reading the posts from other bloggers. This is a very exciting project!

Pretty good, huh? Too bad it doesn't count in the Blog-Off proper.
